Ines Katamso was born in Yogyakarta in 1990 to an Indonesian musician father and a French tattoo artist mother. Ines lived in Yogyakarta in her first ten years before moving to France, where she received her art and fashion design education. After she graduated, Ines returned to Indonesia, her homeland, to develop her ever-expanding creative practice. First as a muralist, then created her own Interior design studio, Atelier Ines-K.

Her artwork in ARTOTEL Sanur – Bali is seen through the murals in the rooms, combining colors and geometry making it exceptional abstract art to observe and dive in during your stay.
At the moment, Ines Katamso is having an exhibition at ISA Art Gallery where she presents her collection “It happened”. Based on the journey of life and its origin, where she combines art and science to explore chemical reactions and translate them into art.
Her exhibition is available at ISA Art Gallery – Jakarta until the 17th of October 2021.
