This area stands on a land of many hectares, and the area also has the shape of a park landmark. Selasar Sunaryo Art Space
One of the few art spaces popular as a tourist attraction, SSAS is worth choosing if you only have a short time in Bandung. As the name implies, this place was founded by Sunaryo, an artist born in Banyumas. Facilities include a library, cafe, gift shop, residency lodge, and an amphitheater surrounded by nature. Soemardja Gallery, one of the oldest galleries, was formed in 1974. The name of the gallery is taken from Syafe’i Soemardja, one of the designers of the art education system in Indonesia. The art gallery has been located inside the Bandung Institute of Technology campus building since 1993. So the Soemardja Gallery is often visited by students and the general public. Most of the works here are made by local art students. The gallery is also a space for art discussions and seminars.
Roemah Seni Sarasvati
Roemah Seni Sarasvati was created to introduce the works of famous Indonesian painters. This place with a colonial design building is a project of Sarasvati Art Management. Art galleries are often used for contemporary exhibitions, discussions, and workshops by local and foreign artists. Lawangwangi Creative Space
Visiting Lawangi Creative Space, you will see several iconic works of art with photos circulating in cyberspace, such as a row of 9 transformed statues. Not only does the outdoor area have iconic spots, but Lawangwangi Creative Space also has a room that is often used as an exhibition venue.
