Traveling is a fun activity for many people. Where we can enjoy a refreshing landscape after being bored at work, and the way we enjoy this activity is of course different. This time, ARTOTEL Yogyakarta collaborated with artists Burhan Nudin and Fikri HBD to present an art exhibition entitled “TAMASYA”. This exhibition presents two different forms of presentation about sightseeing for artists. They succeeded in making a different excursion, namely a tour in the form of works of art. A fun, and simple outing. To them, painting is a kind of excursion, because they can honestly express how they feel.
Therefore, Fikri and Burhan put all their feelings in their works, as if each picture tells a story of the dynamics of the emotions they feel. Fikri and Burhan turn a painting into an absorbing energy that can give their artwork a life of its own.Looking at the beautiful color combination can make the audience imagine the atmosphere when the evening comes, the soft color combination makes the atmosphere of the morning in the countryside imagine, as if bringing the audience to participate in the dialogue. Likewise with other colors that remind a memory.
The exhibition with the theme “Tamasya” will lead connoisseurs to feel the atmosphere of the tour itself in a simple and amusing way, and even to feel different atmospheres. Apart from that, in the exhibition titled “TAMASYA” there will certainly be things that can motivate the audience.
