Citra Pratiwi – Solo Exhibition of “The Garden Of Memories”.
The Garden Of Memories is the solo exhibition from Citra Pratiwi that is also known by her stage name ‘’RAWRAW’’; this pseudo is also the name of her experimental studio, where she includes the urban themes of art. She is presenting 13 of her art pieces, of which 8 of them are two-dimensional and the other five are three-dimensional.
Through her artwork, she introduces the concept of ephemerality which is a word that designates something impermanent. She uses colors and shapes that present the ephemeral things in life, bringing out the nostalgia in you, thus its name, garden of memories. She also connects this common thread of ephemerality to the Buddhist concept in Japanese culture known as Mono No Aware. A form of awareness of your ignorance to empathize with the little things in life.
Everyone can see the art things hang on our ART SPACE – Lobby Area. The exhibition runs from August 24, 2021–October 24, 2021.
