Dedi Irawan – Solo Exhibition of ‘HEALER’
‘HEALER’ is Dedi Irawan’s first Solo Art Exhibition. Dedi is an artist from Yogyakarta who completed his painting studies at ISI Yogyakarta. He had been on hiatus from the world of art since 2015. From this exhibition, Dedi tried to return to the world of art and be more creative.
In Indonesian, ‘HEALER’ means “penyembuh”. Grammatically it is a noun meaning a substance (medicine) that heals. It is different from the previous work with figurative shapes combined with neat and repetitive geometric patterns. In ‘HEALER’, he explores shapes, lines, compositions of bright and flat colors. Dedi will present 10 of his works at the HEALER Solo Art Exhibition. As an artist, Dedi wants to express himself again as before. He tries to see himself intimately as a fully human. The ‘HEALER’ Solo Exhibition also invites the audience to be honest in seeing art.
Everyone can see the art things hanging on our ART SPACE – Lobby Area. The exhibition runs from November 02, 2021–January 02, 2022.
