Solo Exhibition of INTERVAL by Elma Lucyana
Elma Lucyana is an artist born in Bontang, East Kalimantan. Elma Lucyana started her artist career at a work exhibition in 2021 with a work entitled “Rupa-Rupa Molekul”. As if the blood of art had flowed in her body, Elma Lucyana also designs commercial and residential interiors on high-art products to show the characteristics of an Elma Lucyana.
No doubt a scale, the interval indicates the distance between one memory to another memory that goes on continuously. Elma Lucyana tries to translate the sounds, memory collections, and house routines in her childhood into a visual work called “Interval”. According to her, drawing flower arrangements is like stringing childhood memories with her mother. Adrift so far away, Elma clearly remembers the flower arrangements that her mother often made when she was little. “Interval is the manifest of all human beings and their respective collective memories”
Everyone can see the art things hang on our ART SPACE – Lobby Area. The exhibition runs from August 3, 2022–October 3, 2022.
